Rocks, sticks, moss, snacks, cowpies... so many ways to make a misstep out there. How about we cover them feet? On these pages we'll teach you how to make a couple different type of shoes; Gillies, also know as Bog or Bag shoes,
and turnshoes. Gillies are basically a leather bag you cover your feet in. the laces act as something of a drawsting to keep the shoe snug on your foot. Turnshoes are actually constructed inside out, then turned inside
in for wearing. Both are present on some shape or form across the entire period we play in in the SCA.
